You can make a difference and join our growing community.

Membership includes:

  • Free breeder directory listing on the HLC website

  • Annual copy of Genesis (in print or e-version)

  • Four e-newsletters of The Moos per year

  • The opportunity to connect with other HLC enthusiasts through our HLC member Facebook page

  • Free classified ads on the HLC website

  • Assistance from our advisors on specific breed traits, husbandry and management.

  • Swine, Canadian horse, Dairy and Beef cattle semen available upon application

  • Free listing in the fleece directory (under construction)

  • Membership rate or free access to educational seminars/webinars

  • The opportunity to be featured on the HLC website and Facebook page as “Farm, Herd or Flock” of the month.

In return for your membership, HLC promotes heritage livestock, through several forms of communication. In person at events, online using our Facebook page, e-newsletters and Zoom seminars. In print we publish Genesis magazine and informational leaflets. We are 100% volunteer run, all of the proceeds of your membership go towards conserving heritage livestock.

We also focus on projects throughout the year, designed to conserve and promote species on our conservation list.

Junior Membership (18 years and younger): $15

Lifetime Membership: $500

International Membership: $50USD
