Showcasing heritage breeds. Educating and encouraging.
HLC Virtual Show
HLC’s Virtual Show is meant for everyone and features all species within our remit. The virtual show is intended to promote heritage breeds, whilst engaging breeders and total newcomers. We invite participation from both domestic and international participants.
The virtual show is held each year on our specially dedicated HLC Virtual Show Facebook page. Running from October through to December. Each week sees the results for a specific species, along with explanations of placings from judges. Show booklets are available for: Dairy Cattle, Beef Cattle, Swine, Dairy Goats, Sheep, Poultry/Waterfowl/Turkeys, Draft Horses and Light Horses/Ponies. Copies of each booklet can be requested here: heritagelivestockvirtualshow@gmail.com
We make every effort to select judges who are all accredited in their particular field and also hold an interest in heritage breeds.
